The Presbyterian Church of Queensland is committed to the safety and holistic wellbeing of all children (all persons under 18 years of age) involved in our events. To ensure that children and young people are kept safe from harm, our staff and volunteers are required to possess a current blue card; agree to adhere to a Code of Conduct when working with children; and undergo training in Safe Ministry with Children (PresSafe).

The Presbyterian Church of Queensland takes child protection and safety seriously and consequently has policies and procedures in place to ensure that children in our ministries receive the highest standards of care.
We are committed to a policy of mandatory reporting on all matters of abuse.
All staff and volunteers undergo training in relation to the safety and wellbeing of children and the protection of children from harm.
All activities involving children, whether at a denominational or congregational level, are assessed and approved through the processes set out in the Queensland Blue Card System Child and Youth Risk Management Strategy and adopted in the PresSafe Procedures of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland.
Comprehensive reporting on activities and updating of data are part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe environment and safe activities.
