Offering Day and Boarding girls a diverse range of high quality, contemporary educational experiences within a Christian community.
Fairholme College is a traditional independent girls’ day and boarding school, founded in 1908, relocated to its present site in 1917 and operated on Christian principles by the Presbyterian Church of Queensland. It is situated on the Range escarpment in the dress circle of Australia’s Garden City, Toowoomba and is located at 40 Wirra Wirra Street.
Girls are enrolled from Kindergarten to Year 12, with boarders from Years 6 to 12. Boys are also accepted for Kindergarten and Preparatory.
The College is large enough to provide facilities the equal of any capital city school, but small enough to provide caring and individual attention, in the safe and healthy environment of a provincial city.
Fairholme is a strongly academic college with a highly qualified and dedicated staff who inspire our students to achieve outstanding results at Year 12. The distinctive features of the College are evident in the strong sense of community, the culture of care and the willingness of girls to engage in a wide range of activities - cultural, sporting, academic and service. All of this is underpinned by the Christian ethos upon which the College is founded.
Fairholme: a nurturing Christian school, committed to developing a vibrant learning community; one that challenges students to become confident and respectful contributors within our global society.
Proudly a College of The Presbyterian Church of Queensland.
